National Farm to School Network

National Farm to School Network (NFSN) is an information, advocacy and networking hub for communities working to bring local food sourcing and food and agriculture education into schools and early care and education settings. National Farm to School Network is a project of Tides Center, the nation’s largest fiscal sponsor. When available, full and part-time positions and/or internships with the National Farm to School Network will be listed below. 

Program Manager - Remote, Full Time
The Program Manager will manage a portfolio of farm to school projects and ensure the project goals align with NFSN’s mission and strategic priorities. Programmatic responsibilities include: leading organizational programming, partnerships, and policy development, supporting partner engagement, and managing fee for service requests related to portfolio program areas. The current portfolio program areas include Native Communities and agricultural producers. This is a full-time (40 hours per week), exempt position that includes benefits. Annual salary range is $55,000-$65,000. Learn more and apply here.

Program Associate - Remote, Part Time
The Program Associate will implement NFSN’s Seed Change in Native Communities project to scale up and institutionalize culturally significant farm to school programs throughout the entire school environment and ultimately improve the nutritional health and wellness of Native youth. The Program Associate will work at the local level to expand farm to school activities: Procurement of local and traditional foods, school gardens, and agriculture and nutrition education. NFSN’s Seed Change program model is based upon honoring local leadership and autonomy through capacity building to support the community’s vision and to ensure sustainable progress. Projected start date: October 2020. This is nonexempt, part-time (20 hours/week) position with a limited term ending 3/31/22. Hourly pay is $26.44. Learn more and apply here.
